Type/written Series: This work is created on a typewriter with and without a ribbon. Marks are made using residual ink on the keys and varying the pressure of the keystrokes repeatedly typed until the paper breaks down. The keys create an image dense with ink or a condensed perforation of lacy holes

Works from Type/written are currently on exhibit as part of Identity and Insight: Contemporary Artists and Gertrude Stein, The Bing Stanford in Washington Art Gallery, Washington, D.C., scheduled to coincide with the national touring exhibition Seeing Gertrude Stein: Five Stories.

Type/written pieces are included in Contemporary Drawing - Key Concepts and Techniques by Margaret Davidson, published by Random House, Spring, 2011.

The entire series was presented as a solo exhibition at the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington in 2006.
